GLP-1 powered weight loss
isn’t just a physical game.
It’s also a mental one,
let’s prepare together.

60% of women regain their weight within 12 months of stopping Ozempic, Wegovy, or Mounjaro — four times faster than weight lost any other way. Whether you’re on the medication, easing off, or already navigating life after, WeWontRegain is the coaching protocol for the window that decides whether the weight stays off.

The Part Nobody Talks About

You’re not imagining it.

You can feel the question every time you take the next dose — or the morning after you stop. What happens when this ends? Hunger comes back louder than you remembered. Your clothes start to feel the way they used to feel — and you know exactly what that means.

Your doctor wrote you a prescription and a “good luck.” Your friends are tired of hearing about it. Every coach on the internet wants to sell you a “gentle nourishment journey.” None of them are talking about the actual mechanism of what’s happening in your body — or what’s about to.

We are.

Standard of Care

Built by clinicians.
Run for women.

WeWontRegain was assembled to fix a specific failure in modern obesity medicine: the moment the prescription ends.

The drug did its job. The system did not have a next step. There is no standard handoff after the prescription ends — no maintenance protocol, no clinical owner, no one whose specific job is to keep the weight from coming back. Women are discharged from active treatment into the same environment that made them sick, and told to hold the result on willpower alone.

The regain that follows isn’t a personal failure. It is the predictable outcome of a treatment model that stops halfway.

This is what coaching looks like when it’s designed as the second half of a medical treatment, not as a consumer wellness product.

The Protocol

The four-phase protocol — calibrated to where you are.

From your first dose through 18 months of post-drug maintenance, this is the window where weight either stays off or comes back. Here’s how we make sure it stays off.

Phase 00 — Calibrate

While you’re on the drug

The calibration window

The drug is doing its work — appetite is suppressed, weight is coming down, the cliff is somewhere ahead. This phase is about reading your specific signal before the noise returns: tracking your hormonal phase, establishing a strength baseline, and pre-installing the daily systems so the transition off doesn’t catch your body unprepared.

Phase 01 — Stabilize

Months 0–3 off the drug

The acute window

Hunger signals are returning at maximum volume. Muscle mass may be depleted from rapid loss. Cortisol is unstable. This phase is about metabolic stabilization, protein recovery, and learning what your real appetite actually looks like — without the drug, and without guessing.

Phase 02 — Rebuild

Months 3–9 off the drug

The danger window

This is where most regain happens. We rebuild muscle through structured strength work, recalibrate nutrition for your hormonal phase, and install the daily systems that replace what the medication was doing for you.

Phase 03 — Maintain

Months 9–18 off the drug

The locking-in window

The system becomes second nature. You’re no longer fighting your body — you’re working with it. By month 18, we’ve either confirmed you don’t need us anymore, or we’ve identified specifically what ongoing support looks like.

The Numbers

The math nobody wants to show you.

60%

The average weight regained within 12 months of stopping a GLP-1 medication.

Cambridge Meta-Analysis, 2026

How much faster weight returns after stopping a GLP-1 versus after a behavioral weight loss program.

BMJ Systematic Review, January 2026

< 2%

Of GLP-1 users who receive paired behavioral support during the maintenance window. We’re working to change this number.

Obesity Medicine Review, 2025

You’re not failing. The system failed you. The drug worked exactly as designed — and then you were sent home without the second half of the protocol.

WeWontRegain is the second half.

Questions, Answered Straight

The questions you’d ask if we were sitting across from each other.

I quit cold turkey. I didn’t taper. Is this still for me?
Yes. Whether you tapered slowly, stopped abruptly, were forced off by insurance changes, or stopped because of side effects — the regain mechanism is the same. The protocol works regardless of how you exited the drug.
I’m still on the medication but thinking about coming off. Should I wait to join?
No. The best results come from women who start the protocol 30 to 60 days before their last dose. The transition is smoother when the system is already in place. We accept members from any phase.
I’ve already regained 15 pounds. Is it too late?
It’s not. We’ve worked with women up to 8 months post-drug with significant regain already happening. The protocol shifts in this case — it becomes about stopping the bleed first, then rebuilding. The window is wider than most people think.
Are you doctors? Can you prescribe?
No. WeWontRegain is a coaching program, not a medical practice. We do not prescribe, diagnose, or replace your doctor. Our clinical team includes licensed dietitians and certified health coaches — they work alongside your existing medical care, not in place of it.
My doctor wants me back on the drug. What do you think?
Your medical decisions are between you and your doctor. We coach women on both sides of that decision — those staying off the drug, and those choosing to return to it with better lifestyle support. Either path is welcome here.
Is this 1:1 or a group program?
1:1 only. Every member works with a dedicated clinician on a structured four-phase protocol — from your time on the drug through 18 months of post-drug maintenance. We don’t run group calls. Each weekly session is a working hour — protein targets, lifting plans, hunger patterns, sleep, meal structures, the specifics. If you need therapy for the emotional weight of this transition, we’ll refer you to a licensed therapist. Many of our members do both.
I’m in perimenopause. Will this work for me?
Especially for you. Most of our members are 45 to 58, in some phase of perimenopause or menopause. The protocol is built specifically for the hormonal complexity of this window. A 32-year-old’s regain prevention plan would look completely different.
Who owns and operates WeWontRegain?
WeWontRegain is a privately held coaching company built specifically for the GLP-1 maintenance window. Our clinical team operates independently of any pharmaceutical company, insurance provider, or medical practice. We accept no industry funding. The protocol exists because the gap exists — not because anyone paid us to fill it.
